The UQLS invites you to the 2020 Clerkship Evening on Thursday 19th March.

We will be hosting speakers from various firms who will give a presentation on what they look for on clerkship applications, CV do’s and don’t’s, interview techniques as well as providing some general information about their firm, its culture and the work you will be undertaking as a Clerk. There will be a Q&A panel session held at the end of the presentations.

Annual Professional Drinks will be held on Tuesday 10 March 2020, at Customs House, 399 Queen Street, Brisbane City.

Annual Professional Drinks is a cornerstone event for law students of all year levels to meaningfully engage with the profession. This event boasts an excellent opportunity to network with your peers and find out first hand insights into legal recruitment and the life of an early career lawyer.

All current UQ law students are encouraged to attend, particularly those in their pre-penultimate and penultimate years.

Canapés and beverages will be provided throughout the evening. Please note a strict corporate dress code applies.

Student tickets are $39, and all attendees will be afforded the opportunity to develop valuable professional connections prior to their graduation.
