The UQLS is currently accepting applications for positions on the Mooting Advisory Bench for 2008.  Applications are due by 12 noon on Monday 17 March 2008. 

Applicants should send a one page application detailing relevant mooting and judging experience, qualifications and interests to competitions@uqls.com by 12 noon on Monday 17 March 2008.  The deadline will be strictly enforced and no applications will be accepted after this time.
 
Members of the MAB will be responsible for:

•       organising Mooting on Mondays seminars;
•       organising the TC Beirne Faculty Moot;
•       acting as judges for mooting competitions; and
•       compiling moot problems.

Applicants should ensure that they are available to start immediately, as Mooting on Mondays is expected to commence in the first week back after the Easter holidays.

Applicants should state whether they wish to be considered for the position of co-ordinator in the email attaching their CV.  The MAB Co-ordinator will be responsible for organising all MAB activities in co-ordination with the UQLS Competitions Convenors, and becomes a non-voting member of the UQLS Executive.
