What is Res Ipsa?

Res Ipsa is the Law School's annual yearbook which captures all the highlights of the uni year and contains profiles of graduating law students. Res Ipsa 2008 is planned for an October release (just before SWATVOC or the Law Dinner).

What is a Graduate Profile?

A graudate profile is a mini summary of who you are. It outlines what degree you studied and allows you to share some stories about your time at UQ. The profile is short, informal, can be as funny or as serious as you would like it to be....It is also the only way that you will be immortalised at the TC Beirne Law School (well.. at least the Walter Harrsion Library and the UQLS will have a copy on archive for future students to point and laugh at the high fashions of the past.)

Do I need to submit one?

If you are a law student graduating in December 2008 or June 2009, then YES you should submit a profile for Res Ipsa 2008.

For those graduating in December 2009, but would prefer to be included in Res Ipsa 2008 (so that you see your photo next your law school besties) please feel free to also submit your profile for Res Ipsa 2008.

For those graduating June 2008, but missed the Res Ipsa submissions for 2007 and will still be around in Brisbane in October to pick up a copy of Res Ipsa 2008, feel free to submit a profile for Res Ipsa 2008.

When do I need to get the form in by?
