The UQLS produces four major publications each year. Legal Directions and Alternative Routes to the Top provide valuable career information of intending graduates. Alternative Routes to the Top is a collobaration between the UQLS and Justice and Law Society (formerly WATL). The always popular Obiter takes a humorous look at the Law School and life in general, whilst Res Ipsa is the UQLS Annual Yearbook chronicles the year that has passed.
Ratio is a monthly newsletter which is avaliable from the office and delivered to your inboxes with all the latest news and events you need to know about in the Law School.

Alternative Routes to the Top 2008 will be launched at a free event hosted by the UQLS, Justice and the Law Society (JATL) and the BEL Faculty on Tuesday August 12th, 2008 at 6.30pm at the Staff and Graduates Club at UQ (opposite the UQ Bookshop). Come and celebrate the launch of the publications with free refreshments and canapes and guest speakers from government departments and community legal centres. Res Ipsa is the Law School's annual yearbook which captures all the highlights of the uni year and contains profiles of graduating law students. Res Ipsa 2008 is planned for an October release. UQ Law students graduating in December 2008 or June 2009 who wish to be included in Res Ipsa 2008 should download a graduate profile form and returned the completed form to Rola Lin at r.lin @uqls.com (delete the space) before 5pm Friday September 26, 2008. Legal Directions 2008 is now avaliable to all UQLS members. Hard copies of Legal Directions 2008 are avaliable from the UQLS office. As there is a limited number of copies, penultimate and final year students, as well as those who attended Professional Drinks will be given priority. Res Ipsa 2007 is now online. Click here to access Res Ipsa 2007. Print verions of Res Ipsa 2007 are now avaliable for collection from the UQLS by 2007 external competition participants and graduates who submitted profiles last year.
