UQLS University of Queensland Law Society
What can the UQLS Education Team do for you?
The UQLS Education team acts on behalf of the UQLS and law students generally across a number of areas. The UQLS is proud to represent students' educational interests and convey students' concerns to the Law School. This is done through UQLS representatives sitting on a number of Law School committees and through regular consultation between members of the Education team and the Law School's management team.

The Education Officers are the people to contact if you've got any concerns, complaints or compliments about anything to do with the Law School - whether it relates to unfair assessment, teaching or any aspect of your studies.

Formal Submissions

Over the past few years the UQLS Education team has prepared a number of formal submissions which were presented as part of review processes undertaken by the University and the Law School. These were designed to ensure that student views were presented as part of the reform processes of the Law School and the degree. It is expected that further submissions regarding a number of areas will be made over the next twelve months. As part of the preparation of these submissions, the UQLS calls for input from students - so watch our email and this website for a chance to get involved.

Specific Concerns

The UQLS also represents students whenever any concerns arise regarding the teaching or assessment in a particular subject. If you have any concerns regarding any subject you are presently completing or have done recently, please feel free to get in touch with us.
