UQLS Textbook Scholarship Program
The UQLS is running the UQLS Textbook Scholarship Program again in Semester 2, 2008. The scholarship entitles successful applicants to one fully funded textbook for a compulsory LAWS course. Applications are currently being accepted and will close at 5pm on Friday 4 July 2008. Applications are closing at this time so that applicants can receive their textbooks in time for the first week of semester. UQLS Teaching Awards
Each year the UQLS awards excellence in teaching by making two awards to staff of the TC Beirne School of Law, one for elective courses and one for compulsory courses. The awards are made on the basis of the Education Survey conducted at the end of each year, which asks students to nominate a staff member for excellence in teaching. The winners for 2007 were Russell Hinchy (compulsory courses) and Nickolas James (elective courses).
