Paper Presentation Competition
This year, the Paper Presentation Competition is sponsored by Mallesons Stephen Jaques.
Competitors are required to submit a written paper on a legal topic of their choice between 3000 and 5000 words in length and make a 15 minute oral presentation to a panel of judges. Judges will then have 10 minutes to ask the competitors questions. The winner will present their paper at ALSA and will also have it published in a journal. Typically there are only 4-5 entries, so this is great a opportunity for you achieve ALSA glory, and be published.
We understand that not everyone will be keen to spend their free time completing extra assignments just for the purposes of UQLS and ALSA glory. You are more than welcome to adapt your old assignments for use in the competition.
