LLB Guide - A variety of perspectives on each law course. The Guide is designed to provide law students with a variety of perspectives on each law course from students who have done the courses in the past. The Guide is a joint initiative of the UQLS Education and Publications Teams.
Legal Directions & Alternative Routes to the Top - The UQLS Careers Guides Legal Directions and Alternative Routes to the Top provide valuable career information. Legal Directions offers job seeking advice and a directory of various law firms who may be seeking graduates and/or summer clerks. Alternative Routes to the Top is a collaboration between the UQLS and the Justice and Law Society. It focusses on less traditional avenues of legal practice and showcases the diversity of career options which a law degree can offer.
Obiter - The UQLS "Funny" Magazine The always popular Obiter takes a humorous look at the Law School and life in general. It often leads to people doing worse in their exams, since they read it during SWOTVAC instead of studying.
Res Ipsa - The UQLS Yearbook Res Ipsa is the UQLS Annual Yearbook, which chronicles the year that has passed.
Ratio - The inside scoop on the shenanigans at TC Beirne. Ratio is a monthly newsletter which is available from the office and delivered to your inboxes with all the latest news and events you need to know going on in the Law School.
First Year Survival Guide - The UQLS warmly welcomes all first year students into TC Beirne School of Law. To assist your transition into University life, we present the UQLS HopgoodGanim Lawyers First Year Survival Guide 2010. The guide includes tips and hints on your first days on campus, a section on the brand new HopgoodGanim Lawyers First Year Retreat, an article on the Allens Arthur Robinson First Year Buddy Program, important contact details, and information on everything from Centrelink entitlements to how to get to University.
